Welcome to the first blog on this new page. This is a page that will have stories from a person who some call an Autism Jedi. Funny as that is, some days it is heavy and not so fun to carry.

I love my clients and I LOVE my job. I feel so blessed to have people who look to me for help. It is such a fun wonderful thing to have the kids around me and to see them get better and better.

There are sometimes I get tired. Tried of being the one, the one to have the answers, the one to cheer-lead, the one to fix it. It does not very often but some days ya just don't want to do it.

Then after a few minute of a pity party, I think about the parents living with autism, the child struggling with autism, I bet they don' t want to do it day in and day out either.

So I shut my mind up and I remember how wonderful it is so have a client stop self injurious behaviors or start talking and just to hear them laugh when they understand when something is funny. And I am good, the force is with me.
